First Visit

We want your first visit to be easy, relaxed, and informative. Whether you are here for a check-up or to address a specific concern, this page walks you through what will happen and how you can prepare.

First Appointment

What Happens During Your First Appointment

A relaxed start to better oral health.

Your first visit usually lasts about an hour and includes a comprehensive dental examination. We will take time to talk with you about any concerns, dental goals, or past experiences before beginning any checks.

Our team will examine:

  • Teeth and gums
  • Jaw joints and muscles
  • Lips, cheeks, tongue, and salivary glands
  • Signs of oral cancer
  • Digital X-rays and high-resolution photos (if needed)

If you have had X-rays taken by another dentist within the past six months, let us know. We are happy to request them on your behalf.

Safety Comes First

We use low-radiation digital X-rays and protective lead aprons with thyroid collars. We take only the X-rays needed for an accurate diagnosis—nothing more.

You will never be rushed or pressured into making decisions, and your comfort is always our top priority.

What If I Have An Urgent Problem?

We are here for immediate concerns, too.

If you are in pain or have an urgent dental issue, we will focus on relieving that first. Then, once you are comfortable, we will arrange your full dental examination during a follow-up visit.

After The Visit: What’s Next?

By the end of your first appointment, you will have a clear understanding of your dental health and any next steps. If treatment is required, we will book your follow-up at a time that suits you and answer any remaining questions.

We are here to support you, not to pressure you. Your care is always your choice.
